The 16-year-old British songstress is the second performer to be
appearing on Australian television's night of nights, joining fellow
English singer-songwriter Olly Murs.
"I am really looking forward to seeing my Australian fans and being there for the Logies," Birdy told TV Week.
"When I was younger I always watched Neighbours and now I watch Home And Away as well, so it will be good to see those actors on the night!"
Birdy -- born Jasmine van den Bogaerde -- sprung to fame in 2011 with her debut single, a cover version of Bon Iver's hit song Skinny Love.
Her
self-titled debut album and single have gone multi-platinum in
Australia, with her album peaking at #1 on both the ARIA and iTunes
album charts.
The teen superstar, who will be in Australia for her debut national tour next month, will be performing Skinny Love at the Logies.
The star-studded awards will take place on April 7 at the Palladium in Melbourne and will be broadcast on the Nine Network.
